Aluminum

Rigid, yet light weight, aluminum is a sturdy metal, very well suited for outdoor furniture, with structural anti-rust capacities. Fig & Cherry employs custom design 2 – 2.2 mm thick heavy-duty aluminum profiles to build its frames. This allows for an extended lifetime for both residential and commercial applications. An additional chromate conversion coating is applied to aluminum prior to the powder coating process to provide excellent corrosion and to maximize the binding effect of the paint. Fig & Cherry works with the top powder coating manufacturers for eye-catching colours and extended lifetime.

Teak

Our furniture is made from high-quality African teak. This wood has silica and natural oils that make it naturally resistant to termites and other pests. Very durable and resilient, it can last for several decades without becoming damaged when treated with gentle care. It’s resistant to regular wear and tear, and ages gracefully. The grain, pattern and colour stand out even after years of use, which makes our wooden furniture a popular choice.

Weaving & Braiding

Our ropes are made with solution-dyed olefin yarn using special UV protectors. They are available in round, ellipse, and flat format in hundreds of different designs.

The olefin yarns resist sunlight, saltness, abrasion, sweat and stains for many years. All our braids are composed of special high-tenacity materials that maintain the textile strength for many years.

Fabric

Fig & Cherry fabric collection is meticulously selected by our designers. Our outdoor cushions are made of solution-dyed acrylic, olefin and olefin / acrylic combinations. Our sling fabric is supplied from the top brands in the industry.

Our indoor collection accommodates PES-based materials with exceptional quality.

Fig & Cherry offers extended warranty for its products for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Porcelain & HPL

Fig & Cherry specialized in hard surfaces with its subsidiary Northern Lights Porcelain (NLP). Together with NLP, we offer some of the widest collections of laminate and porcelain products in the outdoor furniture industry. Our porcelain products have the following advantages:

High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) is an eye-catching modern element for outdoor furniture, which will complement any residential or commercial space. As HPL has anti-static capacities, tabletops do not attract dust. Wax or wax-based products should not be applied as protection.

Extreme UV exposure may cause some discoloration, without impacting the structural integrity of this material; however, protective covers will extend the beautiful look for many years.
